Adrian, so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Condolences to you and all the family. Mary.
Sincere sympathy to the Murphy Family on the sad passing of Clare from all her friends in Stillorgan/Kilmacud Active Retirement where she was a long standing member. Clare, rest in peace. See you at the other end.
Sincere sympathy to David, Adrian and Edel extended families and friends on the sad passing of Clare. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Thinking of you all at this sad time. A lovely lady that will be truly missed xx
Very sad to hear about Auntie Clare's passing. Thinking of David, Edel, Adrian, and all the grandchildren. She was the matriarch of all the Currans, and the epitome of sweetness. She made myself and my brother and sisters feel at home whenever we visited her, and often made the trip out to Kildare to see us when we were growing up. She was a doting mother, too, and it was no accident that David, Edel and Adrian turned out to be three of the coolest people you will ever meet. It was daunting for my mum Creina to move from England and marry into such a big and close-knit family, but Clare made sure she felt welcome and looked out for her right up until the end. Clare regularly took the bus to visit my mum in hospital before Creina passed in 2018. She never missed a family event, and was always available for advice when I needed it. Will miss you, Auntie Clare

So sad to hear of aunty Clare’s passing you were a very special lady always with a kind word and generous spirit. You lit up every room and always found time for a giggle. A unique rose amongst all your wonderful brothers . Condolences to all the family today.
Clare...lived a good, long life....She was there for us all from the very beginning , the eldest in a family of seven, the only girl... she helped our parents to raise us all...Peter, Gay, myself, Gerry, Dermot, and Fergus.
She looked after us, took us to school, introduced us to her friends, she was a buyer in the first Supermarket, H.Williams and Co. in Terenure. She brought myself to my first Dinner Dance...when she married her late husband Gerry Murphy, she moved out of Rathgar, had three wonderful children, David, Adrian and Edel...when Gerry Murphy died she raised the children on her own...worked every day and was a wonderful mother....she was very proud and never asked for anything in return. When my wife Creina was in hospital Clare travelled by bus to visit her, Clare was in her eighties at the time.
Clare valued her friends and hardly missed an opportunity to go on holidays with them,I didn't have much direct, in-person contact with Clare in the past number of years but she often rang to say, "hello"....
One morning when I rang HER, they said she wasn't there.... she had gone BOWLING in Stillorgan!!!! Thinking of all her children and her grandchildren today
