Claude McGowan

I am gutted to hear of Claude's death - he was such a gentle man, with such strength, it seemed he would go on forever.
To all his family, I can only offer my condolences, and realise their inadequacy. I know words alone will not console you in your grief, but I pray that you will be given the strength you need.
I thought and spoke of Claude at Josie's grave last week for her anniversary. As long as we remember her, Claude will not be forgotten.

I have known Claude over 25 years and the family , friend of Leon, family has always been there for me. So sorry for your loss , thinking of Leon, sonya , Ashley at this time and rest of the family.

So sorry I can't make the funeral or the house gathering because of covid. Hope u understand.

He was a great carecter and his wit and humour will be greatly missed by his many fiends in the Village Inn in Killala.
As for the day that is in it, i am sure he will give divine inspiration to his 2nd county Mayo in the All Ire. final, he sent us a cristmass card a couple of years ago with his hand n the Sam Maguire.
