Just now heard of the death of my old school friend Clem RIP. We spent many happy hours together in Hillview, the High School, O Connell Tce. and Árd na Greine. Sincere condolences to Penny and family on the passing of one of nature’s gentlemen,

I worked with Clem for nearly 10 years, and the stories are legendary. He would always greet you with a joke, and you would be in stitches, only because the jokes were so bad. He brought his big writing bureau with him, from office to office, it weighed a ton, and still managed to make its way up into the attic of the planning department. We had great times and laughs with Clem. He was a gentleman and so kind to his former boss, Ros Nixon. May he Rest in Peace. Condolences to Penny and their children. X

We will have a special thought tomorrow for Clem and his large family. I remember the travel we did with Brendan and him 30 years ago. He permits me to discover Aran Islands and Croagh Patrick. Thanks to him to welcome me and I keep in mind his sense of humour and his ability to play badminton. He remains with us throw their children and grandchildren.
