Heartfelt condolences to Laura, Kerrie, Eva, Nathan and the extended Rowen family. Clive was the OG, the Godfather. From all the time I spent in my youth visiting Skate City, through to when we opened our own skate shop, there will never be another like him. I owe a lot to him and what he did for the country. He will be forever rememebered. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

To Laura, Kerri, Nathan and Eva, We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Clive. You all gave him the loveliest send off. We have such great memories of playing on the ramp in your back garden in Cedarwood, getting splinters constantly! Shocked & sorry to hear of Clive’s passing.

Fond memories of the Hill Street scene in the 80s ( And the Temple Bar store in the 90’s) I never really ‘hung out’ there but passed by regularly & always dropped in for a mooch & sometimes even buy stuff!

Clive was always a gentleman though & it’s so good to see that his positive energy & influence is reflected in the comments here.

So sorry to hear of Clive's passing. I had so much fun with Clive when we both worked out of the same building on Crown Alley many years ago. Calling into to him after I moved out was a lovely experience. He had so much more to live. Very sad. My sympathy to all the family.

I met Clive through Dalkey Scubadivers and we shared many great weekends together, which were filled with laughter and irreverence. We only ever argued once, over how to cook scrambled eggs, it turned out we liked them exactly the same way. A pure original, one of the coolest guys I ever met.
