CLIVE SEAWRIGHT

It was with great sadness that I heard of Clive's death. Clive had written to me last Christmas,to which I had intended to reply to him, but failed to do so due to my workload...thinking there was time to catch up in the course of the year. Which I now deeply regret in failing to do!
Though we had not seen each other since 1985 we remained in contact until last Christmas. A wonderful man who for a short two years lived in Combe Martin,North Devon.
Clive used to sing lulabys for Tara and Aaron at bedtime...his voice not unlike that of Paul Brady caught the attention not only of the children but of his friends,like me and Stella,an old school friend of his, who were regular visiters at such times.
He was a genuinely kind and generous man throughout his life.
Bless you my old friend, for it was a great pleasure meeting you in this life

My deepest condolences to Jackie, Aaron, Tara, Ciaran, Holly and all Clive’s extended family and friends. I had the privilege of not only being taught by Clive but also working along side him as he gave me a job during school and college. I had the utmost respect for him as he was a true gentlemen. He also helped me with my leaving cert metalwork project where I did a model of the water school pool and got an excellent result due to his attention to detail and help. Clive will be missed but may he rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of clive such a lovely kind and friendly gentleman he was to everyone he will be sadly missed by all that knew him . My sincere condolences to Clive’s family on your loss. Like so many others, Clive taught me how to swim in Dunmanway many years ago before we volunteered teaching Water Safety together years later. Clive was an excellent swim instructor and a great character. May he rest in peace.

I am very saddened to hear of the recent passing of Clive Seawright, a lovely man full of passion, purpose and a positive role model for us all:-'build and they will come'. And they did and still do. I was one of them taking my baby daughter and some years later taking my son to his freshwater pool in Bantry. He always had a smile for everyone who came through the door. Clive always took time with us. He was such a gentleman, so encouraging and considerate to the children and thoughtful about how to move them on. We have always felt so lucky to have the wsterschool and Clive nearby. His life mission was truly appreciated.
