To all the Creed family, a small note from Boston to say how deeply saddened I was to hear that Michael (“Beardy”) has passed. He was a great man, truly genuine, salt of the earth, and the kind of person who leaves a mark without even trying. He will be sadly missed by people near and far.

My husband, Martin Druffner, shared many stories and laughs with Michael over the last few years, and those memories will live on here in our Boston home, especially the one at may Christmas Days at the Auld Triangle, when he would call for Santa up the chimney.

Mike was a sound man, always a pleasure to meet and have a chat with, and never short of a bit of craic. He was generous with his time and always willing to help someone out.
