Our deepest condolences, on the death of Jim . He was a classmate of my father Michael Harrington RIP (Kenmare) and I had the privilege of serving with him in Kilkenny,and meeting him many times in Dun Ui Mhaoiliosa. An absolute gentleman always. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Dear Julie, I am so sorry to hear the news of Jim's death in December. What a wonderful gentleman, full of fun and interest in all that life had to offer. His trojan work for the Irish Heart Foundation in Galway was remarkable and improved the lives of so many people. I also treasure the wonderful walks and times shared over the years. He was a great influence and role model to us all. I have very happy memories of his time in Kilkenny.
