Sincerest condolences to Monica, Caroline and Charlie on the death of Collette. Mary (mum) and Collette used to meet often at Mass and mum was very upset at this sad news. We lost contact with Charlie many years back but are thinking of you all at this sad time.

Colette, aka ‘Mon’s mum, never ceased to bring warmth and a smile where ever she went . And very much to me . Whether she was with her friends or own her own she’d stop and have a chat with me . “ How are Simon ? Before quickly asking, and how’s Mon ? I’d ask her, “Mon’s fine - we worked in the same office - “ but how are you ? “ “ Oh, I’m fine, don’t you be worrying about me “ she’d say, before hurrying through the park like a spritly 50 year old .
In all the years I knew she never complained . What a lovely, lovely woman . God bless you, Colette .

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your mum, Collette. I often saw your mum (and granny) at Mass and I enjoyed her sense of humour. Your mum was a very strong woman and we both loved her feistiness and witty retorts. We were touched by how accepting she was of Paul and I and her broad mindedness.
