I was very sorry to hear of the death of Colette.. She was a truly lovely lady. When i joined the High Loft painting group years ago she made me feel extremely welcome. She had a winning smile which lit up the room. I had the pleasure of sitting near her at our lovely members lunch just a few short weeks ago and we had a great chat. I will always treasure the lovely memories of her company and fast wit. May she rest in in peace. Sheila

I taught with Mrs. Dorgan at St. Mary’s School for Visually Impaired Girls in Merrion for many years.
I used enjoy our frequent, long chats there and at the swimming pool at Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel in Killiney, where we were both keen swimmers.
She used insist on me calling her ‘Colette’, which I eventually managed to do!
I was very sad to learn just now of her recent death.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Colette’s children and extended family.

I am very saddened to hear of Colette’s death and offer my sincere sympathy to all of her family. Colette was a great mentor in The Glenageary Trekkers and, together with Michael, she shared her love and knowledge of hill walking with us all.

Over the years we enjoyed Colette’s expert leadership on very many Trekker hikes. More recently she participated in Social Walks and we enjoyed her company. May she rest in peace.
