Everything I ever knew of Colette was her kindness, humour and generosity of spirit. She was a warm and consoling presence to my Dad when he lost his own mother, and he always smiled when he spoke of her. The world is poorer without her, but her grace lives on in those who loved her. My sympathy to all the family. You were blessed to know her.

My mum was certainly one of the strongest people I knew with a wicked sense humour, and an unbridled joy in a game of cards.

We will miss her terribly and I am so sorry we can't be there but we will be watching on line and be there in spirit.

Grandma and Kevie were an amazing couple and shared a beautiful timeless love that you could always see in their eyes as they spoke of one another. While am so sad to lose I take comfort in the fact that they are together again.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Aunt Colette. I hadn't seen her for some years but was always happy to hear of her. She and Uncle Kevin were the loveliest couple;both of whom were very kind to me in the years after my mother's death. Colette was always keen to see that I was happy. She had an ease and gentility which brought comfort and peace. Although I mourn her passing, I shall do so with a smile. All my memories of her are happy ones. May she rest in peace.

We are so very sorry for your loss. We have such fond memories of both your Mom and Dad. We spent many a fun evening in Dublin and Galway. Some of my favorite memories come from visiting with them, having ice cream , traipsing in the fields of Furbo and of course, drinking tea. Your Mom made a mean cuppa! Your parents gave us our family nickname, « the Nescafe Family ». I am sure you will miss your Mom. She was a lovely woman. It will be a strange mass in these strange times.
