Maria & Rory, It is with great sadness that I learned of Colette’s death. That I could not attend the obsequies has upset me to many tears. In our years together at the centre of music and drama in Sligo, and in our personal lives, we shared much ..... in joy, and in sorrow too, and always in confidence. Such was your Mother. She is forever in my mind, and it is an abiding memory, of her unique rendition of the famous song .....Can’t help lovin’ that man of mine..... with Columb looking on and she gazing at him. What a joyous reunion they must have had.....with her voice now that of an angel. Go raibh dheis De ar a anam dills. Anne.
