I was so saddened to hear of the passing of a wonderful lady.

To say Colette was so completely kind, generous in every sense of the word, witty, joyful, friendly and up for a laugh is an understatement. She was all those things and much more. My own personal and fond memories go back to the sitting room in Raheny and Alec playing the piano, Carole drinking wine myself singing while drinking wine and Colette smiling, laughing and genuinely at ease. In fact, she was always at ease and was a true inspiration. Sending my heartfelt sympathies to the entire clan. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. May her gentle and beautiful soul rest in peace. And with Alec by her side. Both together at ease.

I apologise as you will not see me in Wexford, I have some mobility problems mostly caused by a recent operation and we have all just come from the hospital where Annes husband Noel died this morning.
I am sure that Colette is again with Alec, when i was a child I remember them as the 'glamorous couple', I think they are that again.
