Dear Michelle, Louise, Kate & Frank, and Kevin & Maria and all the grandkids and nieces, so very sad to hear about your loss. Colette was always such a kind and giving soul with an equally mischievous sense of humour...she had so much of her mum Mary's spirit it was such a joy to see. She was always there for a meeting and a chat when I visited from Canada or lived in Dublin during my gap year and would come down to Cork on Bank Holiday weekends. She was such a larger than life character it's hard to imagine this world without her infectious laughter and love and kindness in it. Sorry my boys only met her as babies, they would have got on like a house on fire. Thinking of you all and sending love from afar xoxo

Colette was very kind to my Mam, she would give her and Eleanor a spin to bingo. It could have been to the Hurling Club, but it could have been to some other one; there were a few. My condolence to the family.

My niece Colette was a great daughter to my sister Mary and a great niece to my sister Peggy.
Her family meant everything to her, Frank, Michelle, Louise, Laura and the grandchildren were the lights of her life.
She will be missed by her brother Kevin and his family Maria and daughters Triona and Lisa
Besides her family, Colette was a Post Mistress, she travelled around Europe, visited Australia and even visited us here in Niagara Canada. She was very social - she had her clubs, and really enjoyed her summer place in Youghal.
She had a good life in spite of health issues. We shall all miss her. Sincere condolences
