I am so sorry to hear today that your wonderful cherished Mam Collette has passed away.
My deepest and sincerest condolences to all of you and your extension family.
Until I closed my practice in 2002 I was your Mam's GP for many years.
She was not just a patient. She was also a great friend. She was always very positive. Always cheerful and her concerns were never for herself , but always for you her children of whom she was extremely proud. She was a devoted wife , Mother and Grandmother. Indeed the untimely passing of your Dad, her beloved Larry was a great shock to her.
Despite leaving a great void in her life she bore her loss and grief with great courage and stoicism. She is now reunited with him in their Heavenly home.
Your mam and I had a lot in common. Both of us having siblings in Canada. And, when my sister Mary retired back to Ireland from Canada she and your Mam became friends in the Le Ceile active retirement group in Laurel Lodge.
It was a privilege to have known her
She will be very sadly missed
