Coli (Colman) O'Donoghue

So sorry to hear of Coli's passing and our deepest sympathy to Inger Sofie and all the family. Rest in peace.

I only heard of Coli’s passing today which I can’t believe may he rest in peace. I knew Coli since I was 15 years old cutting his grass to then working for him in Gilroy mc Mahon in Dublin.
And he then became my tutor while
I was studying architecture. He was a lovely man and a great tutor and architect. My thoughts are with you all

I was so sorry to hear the news of Coli's untimely death. I worked with Gilroy Mc Mahon for five years in the late 1990s and met Coli a few times after that through my teaching. He was always so energetic and interested in architecture. I recall his enthusiasm as I showed him around the End of Year Show in our school at TU Dublin. I am sorry that I could not attend the funeral due to teaching commitments. My sincere condolences to Inger Sofie, Anders and all the family.

I am saddened to hear of Coli's passing. I had always admired the work of Gilroy McMahon in the 90s and was delighted to get to work with him on a project in recent years. He made a significant contribution to Irish architecture. May he rest in peace.

I had the greatest of pleasures working with Coli over many years. We shared a connection to Norway, a passion for food and of course, architecture. As an older colleague, I always found Coli to be collegiate, gerenerous and have great professional empathy. He was a very good man and a talented architect. He will be sorely missed by us all, but I have many very happy memories of our meetings and conversations. Rest in Peace coli until we meet again.

My sincere condolences to Inger Sofie and family. I can't believe that Coli has passed. A man of such energy and drive. A very friendly, kind person, an excellent boss and an industry leader. I remember meeting him and his children by accident, with my children, perhaps a year ago. I assumed he had many years left to live. May he rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to Inger-Sofia and all your family in Ireland, Norway and the USA. Coli was a wonderful friend for over 50 years from Palmerston, Bolton St, Gilroy McMahon, DMOD. He had such a breath of interests from Rugby, GAA, Football, The Arts, Music, Archeology and many more , he was both knowledgeable and passionate. Universally liked and respected by all whoever met him. Family, friends and his profession were paramount to him. He will be so sadly missed, but so well remembered, it was an honour to have known him. RIP
