Deepest sympathy on your loss from the Graham family in Limerick.
Colin was an absolute gentleman. I cared for him in Dunlaoghaire health centre when he visited for part of his ongoing care. As a runner myself, we had endless fun chats about running. Colin told me all about his great running years. Rest in Peace now Colin. We will all miss you.
Deepest sympathy to John on the loss of your brother.

Sad news travels to me here in the port of Aegina, Greece onboard DeDanann.
I first met Colin in the 80s walking around Dublin and London looking for sites. You would never know when Colin would walk into the office or on a site and sit down to a cup of tea rummaging through the countless bits of paper he kept in every pocket with details of some property or other in the tiniest writing I have ever seen.
A great friend to have God bless him.

Colin had many solid connections everywhere. I met Colin in July 1964.
He has been involved in athletics with Donore Harriers all his life, and shared his love of motor racing with many people, including his solicitor friend, Stuart Cosgrave. Colin and Stuart introduced Tom Brennan and myself to John Healy and his brother Joe, who farmed 113 acres on the Greenhills Road. It’s was the beginning of 1650 houses. The Touhy family were approached by builders and agents but would only sell to us. Our company, Greenmount Properties Limited, agreed to pay £4,000 per acre for the 140 acres. It’s was the beginning of 3750 houses. He had computer memory. We met once a month. May he rest in peace.

My Deepest sympathy to Ruiari,Dara, Naoishe,Leah, John,Bill,Mary and Valerie and all members of the Holohan family on the passing of Colin. Colin was truly a lovely man and was always dedicated to all that he set out to do. He enjoyed our breakfast mornings in Dunnes Stores, our trips by train to Belfast and often Newry and most of all he enjoyed the trips we made to Holyhead on a regular basis across the Irish Sea, where he was well known by Jeff Evans and Ann Kennedy former Mayors of Holyhead. He also gave me great help into the archives of the R.M.S. Leinster Mailboat, for the centenary ,as we spent many weeks in Pearse Street Library where he was also very well known. Colin , you always said what you would do ,and you were always there for others at all times, many thanks Colin.
May you today Colin be in the comfort of our Lord, May the blessing of our Lord be upon you Colin today. Colin rest in peace .Amen

Sincere sympathy to the Holohan Family on the sad passing of a true gentleman and a wonderful friend.
Colin was a legend in so many aspects of life, not least his integrity, enthusiasm, memory, expertise, running and walking achievements. He had an incredible property brain and knowledge.
I will always be grateful to Colin for getting me my first job, in the Albert Estate Agency in Sandycove, and for giving me so much time and encouragement in my fledgling career. He definetly inherited so much of the outstanding love and knowledge of property from his great father who I am also indebted to for the generous mentoring he gave me.
Although Colin was so talented and successful he never sought acclaim, he epitomised humility.
May he Rest in Peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend, Colin.
He touched the lives of many in Donore Harriers with his warmth, generosity, support, and his presence brought joy to those around him.
His legacy is of kindness, integrity, and quiet strength, and I will forever remember him fondly.
