So saddened to hear of Colin’s passing. He was such a bright light in our classroom all those years ago in the 1980s. I can still picture him mimicking the fundraisers practising for a parachute jump by jumping off a chair and yelling “Check canopy”.
I met him occasionally around Cork after I left Triest. Colin never failed to recognise me and always had a booming greeting and smile for me. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends as you mourn his absence.
