Words can't describe how much I will miss Colin. Always so good to me and obliging when he was in Bohermore tyres.
He always asked how my mum and dad were, and always made time to speak to them.
A funny, caring, kind person, so down to earth.
When he joined the Galway Clinic, I really enjoyed our chats and bit of slagging. He fit in so well.
My most sincere condolences to his wife, children and all his family.

We are so saddened to hear the heartbreaking news that Colin passed away. We have known him since a child in Tonery’s Bar and he always had a big hello and a smile for us, he always had time for a chat, and he was always giving of his time no matter where you met him. A credit to Ann and Jack, and a gentleman as he got older never losing that wonderful smile and personality. Your loss is immense and we send our deepest condolences to you all. Rest in Peace Colin, you were a lovely person and we will always remember you with a smile and affection.
Deepest condolences to Nicola and the children. RIP Colin. You were far too young to go.
Sincere Condolence to Nicola and family on the sad passing of your beloved Colin, also to his sister Kay and parents Jack and Ann. I am saddened and shocked at the news as I remember Colin growing up and working with Jack and also helping out in Tonery's. He was such a lovely young man always friendly and up for a bit of Craic.

So sorry to hear of Colin’s passing. Nicola, Sean, Cathal, James, Kay and Keaveny and Tonery families please accept my sincere condolences.
Colin was just one nice guy. I got to know Colin a number of years ago in Core Fitness Claregalway Hotel. Many the chat and laugh was had at the early morning gym sessions. When I look at Colin’s photo it epitomises the Colin I got to know, always smiling, welcoming and up for any bit of fun and laughter, giving as good as he got. He often spoke about his boys and his pride of you Sean, Cathal and James was always so evident. I met Colin briefly in passing about 6 weeks ago and his first words were “how are you doing”. A genuine gentleman, taken far too early. Please allow your lovely memories of Colin help you through these tough days and weeks.
Colin, you brightened up people’s lives so rest easy now in the eternal life you deserve.

Our sincere condolences to Nicola and family on the loss of Colin . May he rest in peace.
I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Colin’s family. I had the privilege of working alongside Colin during his time in both X-ray and theatre at MPH. There was never a moment when he didn’t have a smile on his face – and that smile was truly contagious. I don’t think he ever realised just how much his positivity lifted those around him.
Only last Thursday, I had the pleasure of working with him. We spent an hour chatting – something that was so easy to do with Colin. He told me about his life, how much he loved his job in theatre, and how it was completely different from the physical work he’d done for most of his life. He spoke fondly of each of his three boys and how incredibly proud he was of you all.
Colin will be deeply missed at work, and I will always remember his kindness.

It was heartbreaking to hear of Colin’s passing. I was unable to attend the funeral in person but it was an honour to witness the beautiful and well deserved tribute his family and friends gave to an absolute gentleman. I don’t think the phrase “salt of the earth” could be more fitting than for Colin Keaveney.
Thank you, Colin, for all the laughs and smiles you shared with us. You were always the first to ask how others were, and you had a way of making sure people left your company feeling better than when they arrived.
You were a true gentleman, and from your son’s words it’s clear the apples have not fallen far from the tree.
We will miss you dearly.
Sending love to all family and friends.
