To Fidelma, Colin’s Dad Pat and Colin’s family, I was sorry to hear of Colin’s passing, I remember when ye moved to Ballyphehane all those years ago and Colin playing all the records and requests for us on the radio, such a lovely person always. Rest in peace Colin.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Colin's passing.
We had many great times on the radio and in person over the many decades I have known him.
He never lost his youthful energy and infectious optimism for radio, music, working with his golden voice, his great sense of humour and his devotion to his family.
He maintained that bouyant spirit even in the face of ill health.
He is an inspiration to us all.

I want to send my condolences to Colin's family at this sad time. Colin has been a close friend for almost 40 years. He always had a positive attitude and a great sense of fun. He was not only a talented broadcaster, DJ and producer, but was a true family man, who gave so much to his children. In recent times, he found spiritual happiness visiting a gospel choir in London and told me he had found inner peace . As heart broken as I am at this time, I am so grateful to have had his friendship for so long. Rest easy my friend.x

I had been listening to Colin on RTE Pulse FM radio every Saturday afternoon for some years and he would always give me a shout out.

Then 3yrs ago, I reached out to him to ask him to come to Dublin to play at my 60th birthday party. Oh what a night! We danced for hours. He played all my favourite tunes. My mates still talk about the party and my wonderful DJ ♥️

That started our friendship. And now here we are. Hard to believe he has gone to play at a bigger session. Hope they are loving him as much as we did. I'm listening to one of his old shows as I type this message.

Sympathies to all his family. A legend gone but can never be forgotten.
