Pam, Amanda, Lucinda, Annabel and families, I was so sad to hear that Colin has passed away. I have lovely memories of his kindness to us when we were small, and his twinkly eyes when he smiled! And of course the ice-creams!! Thinking of you all.
I’m so sorry to read the sad news about Colin, yet the best of memories flood my mind. We had some truly idyllic years as neighbours between 1979 and 1983 when Taney Rectory moved to Stoney Road. Those were times of shared kindness, conversation and fun. The whole Slater family became part of our lives. Claire who came ‘on the scene’ in those years also treasures her memories of meeting Colin… Our hearts and prayers go out to you all.
A gentle man in every sense of the word. We will miss Colin very much. Our sincere condolences to you Pam and your family. Wonderful memories of our ongoing lunch get togethers in Cork and Dublin
