Sincere sympathy to Fr. Colin's family and the Jesuit community. He was a gentle, kind and wise spiritual accompanier.
I was so sorry to hear of Colin’s death. He was the school chaplain in Mount St Anne’s Secondary School, Milltown, for a few years in the 1990s and I have very fond memories of his time there. He was a warm, gentle, caring and compassionate man with an enquiring mind. He’s the only chaplain I remember who mingled with us teachers in the staff room. He had mastery of the art of conversation and was a great listener. From him I learned that gentleness isn’t weakness. He was fearless yet never stern. My husband taught in Gonzaga, and it was always a delight to meet Colin on social occasions. He never failed to have an interesting angle on everything. My deepest sympathies to his family on their grievous loss. It was a pleasure and a privilege to know Colin. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Remembering the late Fr Colin Warrack SJ in my thoughts and prayers, and please may I ask him to pray for this young man too, especially if I have a vocation.
Colin, you were such a kind soul and an incredibly generous person. Thank you for all the memories. We will be sure to keep you in ours. RIP x
Truly saddened by the passing of Walla. A caring , thoughtful and empathetic teacher. Taught me to teach myself and to read around the subject. Touched many a life for the better. Glad he was part of my teenage years. Thank you Colin for being.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the Warrack family on the recent passing of dear Fr. Colin. Colin was a sincere family friend and we got to know him through our Aunt, Sr. Olivia Russell.
Colin celebrated wedding mass many times for members of our family, christened many babies and celebrated mass at private family gatherings. When Colin was amongst us he was really like a family member, enjoying the conversation with great interest, catching up with everyone in his quiet unassuming nature. We will miss Colin immensely and feel really blessed to have know him for so many years.
Rest in Eternal Peace Colin 🙏🏼

Though you're gone, you're in our hearts,
We'll never forget the bond we chart.
You taught us strength, you taught us grace,
In every memory, you'll find your place.
So rest in peace, dear Colin, We'll carry your love every single day

In every memory, you'll find your place.
So rest in peace, dear Colin, We'll carry your love every single day
Though tears may fall and hearts may ache,
For a father's love we cannot remake.
His spirit lives, in every breeze,
Whispering through the rustling trees.
Remember the laughter, the gentle hand,
That guided us through life's shifting sand.
The lessons learned, the wisdom shared,
A legacy of love, forever cared.
Though shadows fall and darkness creeps,
His memory in our heart still sleeps.
A gentle guide, a constant friend,
Our journey's start, our happy end.
His love a beacon, shining bright,
A guiding star in darkest night.
Though gone from sight, his love remains,
A timeless echo, through the rains.

We bid farewell to this gentle soul, so loved and never to be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
Colin was a great friend to me in Clongowes. He was a wonderful Biology teacher. I remember his collection of American cockroaches and the two gerbils in the Lab! He started the Orion kayaking club. I and many others remember the Liffey descents and so much more.
After leaving school, whenever Colin was needed in a spiritual context, he was there.
Rest in peace, you were a very good man.

Great-uncle Colin, you were always someone I could count on for a big smile and not a few laughs. It was always a pleasure to spend time with you and bridge the generations of Warracks & Bosmans. I'll cherish our times drinking beer or tea in Dublin, playing mini cricket games in London, or listening to your stories during your visits to South Africa. Thanks for everything!
Dear Colin will always be remembered with love and gratitude to God for his long friendship with our family. Pat and Dympna Sheehan.
Sincere sympathy to Clare, Malcolm and Andrew, nephew in law, nieces in law, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews on the loss of your dearly loved uncle.
Colin was a man of great humanity, integrity and spirituality. A.M.D.G was not something written in the margin but a reality lived in his very full life of service to his students, parishioners and in his work of spiritual accompaniment. May his dear soul rest in peace.

Uncle Colin. We will all miss you, your fun, calm and always positive voice so much.
No matter where you went, you had no fear of anyone or anything, you always mixed with our friends as if they were your Family.
Not many people will know of the great times that we spent together in Africa, a place always so close to your heart. No more listening to the beautiful stories that you used to tell me about you and my Dad growing up in Kenya in the old days. The deep discussions we used to have about Africa and its problems and opportunities, I will truly miss that.
Your passion for sports was amazing, I will miss the great discussions and banter we used to have regarding South African and Irish rugby. I still support Ireland whoever they play any other country other than South Africa.
This is Easter weekend. You couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate time to leave us.
Your dedication to the church your whole life, was amazing, always out there trying to help others. Knowing that you are home now, with your father in heaven brings us all joy and peace.
Your work is done here. Rest In Peace Colin.

My memory of Uncle Colin is of a warm-hearted man with wide-ranging interests. Colin maintained an open mind, happy to discuss almost all topics. Spending time with him was always interesting and easy. We will miss him.
Rest in peace Fr. Colin. You were a true gentleman and will be very sadly missed.
Wallah was a proper 'bloke'. When being a 'bloke' meant something. I liked him - he was solid. Rest well. OC'73.
was my biology teacher in first year or two, lovely man who was a rugby head and used to do reports on our matches which he used to post up on the noticeboard.
RIP Walla

Colin - what a gem you were, my heart is broken ❤️🩹. We shared so many good times together - thank you for being the best uncle and friend. I miss you already! God Bless 🙏
Fr. Warrack was an outstanding Biology teacher in my time at Clongowes. More importantly, he was a gentleman to his core; unfailingly generous of spirit; and a man who embodied all the qualities of a virtuous human being. May he Rest in Peace.
May the good Lord welcome you home this Easter time, to be with Him , as He says," welcome, good and faithful servant". You are now reaping the reward of a long and dedicated life .
Thank you Fr Colin

“Walla” One of the good guys. R.I.P.
Colin was always the gentlest of men when my schoolmates and I were under his care in CWC way back and over the many years since when we were in contact and met up. He will always be remembered most fondly.
