Colm CURNEEN

We met Colin for the first time 2 years ago when he chaparoned us to w wedding of the daughter of his sailing colleague Dr Duggan. I was a great meeting He was so kind and entertaining, We also spent two days together at the next daughters wedding down in Cloakilty. I knew a lot about Colin over the years as he battled bravely against his distressing ilness, our mutual friend being anxious to make sure we were'nt mising any new treatments.
It was our luck and pleasure to have known such a fine person who will be sorely missed.

He was such FUN and contributed so much to LIFE........he was an inspiration.

On behalf of all Colm's former classmates in Blackrock College, I offer sincere condolences to his family. Colm managed to attend our 50th Reunion Mass and Dinner in 2010, even though he was quite ill at that time. Subsequently, he attended another Reunion Lunch in 2013...looking much better. We are all absolutely distraught to hear that he lost his great fight! May he rest in the peace he surely deserves!

My sincere condolences to the family. The little I got to know him, I could see that he was a loving and caring man and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
