Sincere sympathy to Rosaleen and family on Colm’s passing. Colm was a valued role model, mentor and friend. He always provided advice, opinions and belief that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. I always enjoyed our breakfast meet ups and will miss these. I have a lot to thank Colm for since I first met him in 1996. May Colm Rest in Peace.

I was in UCG (NUIG) at same time as Colm and remember him as good humoured and great company. My condolences to his family.
Colm was a member of Bushy Park Parish Council for many years. His warmth, patience, decency,, integrity, positiivity and good humour always enhanced our meetings. To say he will be sorely and sadly missed is an understatement. Sincerest sympathy to Rosaleen, Alison, Pamela, Nonnie and extended family at this sad time
So sad that Colm has gone. Colm was a member of the Galway Lions Club for many years and contributed hugely with his expertise, humanity and decency. He gave generously to needy causes and always pressed for donations to those who deserved it most. For a man doing so well in business, he empathised with the less fortunate. He was also great fun and cheery; a man of many talents. He will be missed immensely.
Our sincerest condolences to Rosaleen, Alison, Gemma, Pamela and the extended Feeney and Cosgrave families on your sad loss. May Colm rest in peace.
Dear Rosaleen and family, Sheila and I send our heartfelt condolences for the impact upon you all of the unimaginable pain of Colm‘s passing. Colm was, quite simply, the best of us: honest, gentle, helpful, kind, patient, compassionate, unassuming, thoughtful, and reassuring. And, underlining all these qualities was his sense of humanity and his wonderful sense of humour. He was a true gentleman, both by instinct and by nature, so that every company, within which he found himself, was infused with the warmth of his personality, his wit and his generosity of spirit. More than words can wield the matter, then, he will be missed by us all.
Sleep in heavenly peace, dear friend .You will remain in our thoughts and our hearts for ever..

Our sincere condolences to Rosaleen and the Feeney family. I had the great pleasure of working with Colm in Nortel. He was a person who always had great respect for his colleagues. I will treasure the memories of Colm. He was truly a great character and he will be missed by all. RIP.
Just to reiterate what so many people have observed already, Colm Feeney was an exceptional person. He will be greatly missed in the community. Even though he had only recently retired , he was always available to those who needed a word of advice and support. Colm was a true leader, establishing a strategic business that provided a vital service to the many US global multinational corporations located in Galway. From his time and experience with Nortel Networks he anticipated this service need and had the tremendous courage to address it and build an enduring business around it. Colm had a wonderful charismatic empathy with all those around him and with the business community in general, commanding a respect and loyalty, not to be forgotten. Once again, Thank you Colm.

I knew Colm through Nortel Paris many years ago. Can still picture his smiling face after so long. He was smart and funny, and without ego to engage with junior staff exactly as he treated everyone else.

Having lived a truly good and kind life, the world is a better place for Colm having been in it. Those that knew Colm are lucky to have known him. We will cherish the memories of his good company and kind heart. Colm was the rarest of men - a true gentleman in thought, in word and in deed. To write something short about such a special person is very difficult to achieve.

I was very lucky to meet Colm 30 years ago in Galway Lions Club. We had some marvellous times.
He was so invested in his family, friends and everyone who met him. His positivity was infectious and he helped many of us up a rung or two on the ladder of life.
Above all he was a super Christian and showed us how a caring life should be lived.
RIP Good Friend

Condolences Rosaleen and the Feeney/Cosgrove families. We were fortunate to have known Colm for many years and had many chats, coffees and social occasions in his company. He will always be remembered for his generosity with his time, advice and genuine concern for ‘lending a hand’ when needed to others in his vast network of friends and acquaintances. Always so positive and encouraging of others, well known for his wit & good humour. All the qualities of a great human being. We will miss him and saddened that he didn’t get the time to enjoy his retirement years with Rosaleen, Alison, Gemma, Pamela, extended family and of course Freddie of whom he was so proud. Rest in Peace Colm.
