Sincere condolences to Moira, Áine, Seán and Sheila on the recent and sudden loss of a great husband and father. I would often hear my late Mother (Jean) mention Colm when it came to rules of golf - informed, knowledgeable, fair but most importantly a fantastic ability to listen to all sides of the discussion and give his advice. I was only looking through old photos of Eire Og, Ennis, the other day and there was Colm in his youth, a fine young man in 1956 after defeating Clarecastle in the Clare county final. Sympathies to Moira and Family. Colm was a true gentleman and Loyal Supporter of Old Crescent RFC. He traveled the length and breath of Ireland with his friend Vincent supporting the Club and it all began in the early 1990's when his son Sean played with us. He will be missed at our Pre-Match Lunches of which he and Vincent were regulars.
