Deepest sympathy to the Rush family. I’m another of Colm’s former students in Oatlands College . I have fond memories of Colm Rush both as a superb teacher (enabling me to get honours LC chemistry!) and as a great person.

The warmest of memories of Mr. Rush (fondly referred to as Barney) in my days in oatlands. My best subject was Chemistry and that was down to him. May he rest in peace and may God bless his family. We will meet again. James class of 1980.

Hard to believe that it is 49 years since his copious notes got us all through Chemistry and set us on our Journey, from Oatlands, through life. Hoping that there are many great memories to allow his Family to smile as they remember him, as I will.

Very sad to learn belatedly of Colm's passing. Colm was a colleague in my young days teaching at Oatlands. He was supportive and helpful and a dear friend.
It was a great joy when that friendship carried in to the next generation.
