To the Ryan, Lonergan, Kennedy and all extended families. There are no words to describe how much Colm meant to Jim and I and the whole communities in Ballymac, Touraneena, Newcastle, and further afield. Colm was loved by young and old, he just couldn't do enough for everybody always putting himself second. Colm always gave 100% to everything he undertook, be it being a loving father, son and brother, his work or his running. He always excelled. His passing has left a huge void not only to his family but to all who had the pleasure of calling him their friend. Colm, we will miss you so much and thank you for everything you did for us.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Colms passing. I would meet him regularly through work & we would always have the craic & the banter, he was never without a smile on his face & would do anything to help out.
Lily & Paudie, your Dad loved you both deeply & was immensely proud of you. Don't ever forget that. I have no doubt he'll be watching over you both always.

I didn't know Colm, he beat me in a race once...but he beat a lot of people in races! He was a great runner, by all accounts a great person, and everyone I know in the mountain running community in Munster is very sad to hear of his passing.
