Colm Sherlock

Frances I was so sorry to hear Colm passed away. I have such great memories of the past presidents get togethers and both Pat and myself always enjoyed meeting up with the two of you. Sincere sympathy to you and the boys and I'll be thinking of you all.

I was very sad to hear Colm had died. I have many old but fond memories of him starting off in golf, particularly, and giving me lessons as he learned himself! A warm, modest man - great company. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear about Colm. He was a gentleman and fine ambassador of Skerries RFC. We were presidents of our respective clubs in the same year, and, along with the other club presidents, shared many good times and laughs together. Deepest sympathy to Frances and the rest of the family.

My sincere condolences to all the Sherlock family. I had the pleasure of working with Colm in DCC for a number of years. He certainly was ' a jewel in the crown' as a rugby correspondent once said.

Eilis nous a souvent parlé de son grand-frère qu'elle aimait tant et nous avions l'impression grâce à elle de le connaître et de faire un peu partie de vos amis lointains. Colm s'est battu contre la maladie avec courage et dignité et malgré ses souffrances il a fait en sorte d'apprécier chaque petit plaisir de la vie et de profiter au maximum de sa famille aimante et de ses amis. Il force l'admiration et le respect. Quelle leçon de vie! Aujourd'hui il s'en est allé de ses souffrances et vous laisse dans la tristesse, mais nous sommes persuadés qu'il continuera à veiller sur vous. Nous partageons votre chagrin et sommes avec vous par le coeur et la pensée. On vous embrasse fort.

I was fortunate to play on the same team as Colm for a number of years. Memories of a modest, quiet and considerate man who was great fun to be around.
