Sincere condolences to Dave's family and friends on his untimely passing. The last time I met Dave and had a chat with him was at the Irish Open in Lahinch. Dave stood out in the crowd. His outfit from top to bottom was based on the Stars and Stripes American flag. What a character! What a personality! Behind his bravado he was a gentle soul. Dave will be truly missed by his many friends from the Defence Forces. Rest in peace Dave.

Dave was a proud member of the 53rd Cadet Class. He joined the Defence Forces in 1976. 50 years ago. His classmates will miss him dearly.
