Im very sad to hear of Gareths untimely death. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. He helped me enormously after the death of my husband. Rest In Peace Gareth. xxx

Gary has been well known to me since Sept 1980 from Form One in Kilkenny College.

He will be remembered as been very diligent. A very helpful and kind pupil to other pupils. An outstanding sportsman.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gary's family and in particular his children at this very difficult time. We served very closely together in Lebanon in 1997 and have been good friends since the day he joined the DF on 23 Sept 1991. A tragedy in every sense of the word and he will be sorely missed.
Sincerest sympathies to his wife and children. Gary and I served together in Lebanon in 1996 and subsequently in the 2 Eastern Brigade. His sad loss at such a young age will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
May Garry be always remembered and never forgotten,our thoughts and prayers will be you, love pat jennifer and family.
