I was deeply saddened to hear of Tim's passing, the loss of such a fine spirit so early in life is difficult to comprehend. Tim and I worked together in the border area and latterly in Cork. I enjoyed his company. He was a professional in all he did, he had a great sense of humour and cared for those under his command.

His work commitment and personality stood out during our time together. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Tim was one of life’s good people, he had a positive impact on everyone around him and was the type of person who would restore one’s faith in human nature. He was a great classmate and I have very fond memories of him in the Cadet School and in particular his warmth, smile and great sense of humour. The world is a lesser place without Tim.
