We have been very saddened on Martins' untimely death. He was a great and loyal friend to both of us throughout my Naval Career. I can remember when I was at sea he got our daughter Marguerite walking, even purchased a new car for us! He had a wonderfully positive and bold sense of humour. It is with shocking regret that I heard the belated news of the passing of Martin. I had the privilege of serving overseas with Martin in Bosnia. He was a true gentleman, a man of great humour and an extremely able and professional officer. I can only imagine the huge void left in the soul of his family. I wish to offer my deepest condolences to the family and his very many friends whom will miss him dearly. He was one of the best, may he rest in peace.
