So sorry to hear about the passing of the wonderful Con Clarke. I had the pleasure of working with Con in a legal action that he and so many others bravely took on some years back. A man of courage, conviction and integrity and above all a gentleman. No doubt he will be sorely and sadly missed by all all his immediate and extended family and many many friends. Sending forth lots of love. I watched Con’s funeral Mass on the live stream. Everything about it was simply perfect.
The gifts brought up by the grandchildren, the beautiful music selections, Emer’s recited poem, Catherine’s speech and the priest’s homily were incredibly touching and special to honor the life well lived of a very special man. 🇮🇪🍀❤️

Deepest condolences to all of Cons family & friends. Con waa a great man who dedicated so much of his time and effort to Raheny. He was passionate about the Tidy Towns competition and believed that Raheny would one day manage to reach the coveted gold medal. Con was a remarkable and hard working man who gave extremely generously of his time to the Community of Raheny and communities and organisations much further afield.
Con took the time to engage with everybody in a direct and meaningful way and was steadfast and true in his beliefs and efforts .I valued this engagement greatly and admired his incredible hard work ,beief in high standards and his sincerity in all he did.

Condolences to Terri and family from all the volunteers at Raheny Tidy Village Group.Con has been at the forefront of the group since 1992.The foundations of which culminated in the Gold medal award this year.We had a celebration after we received this and it was great to see Con enjoying this moment which he thought he would never see.

Con will be missed around the area with his paintbrush cleaning up the graffiti and sharing his wisdom and thoughts.He was a down to earth character who never forgot where he came from and was never afraid to speak up,this reflected in his career and the many other facets in his life,sport,politics etc.
