Con (Cornelius) Gilsenan

My utmost sympathies to Joan, Conor, Ber, and of course all the Gilsenans. I remember Con as a very generous and considerate individual. I vaguely remember one time when I was sick as a child in Crumlin hospital, he even came up to visit me. I mean, I'm not related to the man in any way, I'm the son of a friend of his. But such was his compassion, he hopped into the car and visited a nipper who was up in the Crum on his ownsome for two or three long weeks. Thank you Con Gilsenan, you beautiful man. RIP

Dear Joan, it was with great sadness we just learned of the untimely passing of your beloved Con. our deepest sympathy to you, Conor, Gilsenan, extended families and many friends. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I worked with Con, a gentleman many years ago in Dublin (PMPA). We both left and went back to family business. Over the years we always called when in Mullingar. We were friends with the late Tom Bourke aTipperary man, and always enjoyed a great welcome from Con. May Con now rest in heavenly peace reunited with all his loved ones.
