I had the privilege of meeting Conal when he was here in Crumlin. I really enjoyed our chats and discussions about who to send letters to. He loved life and had the amazing ability to cheer everybody up. He lit up all our days. Conal, thank you for sharing your sunshine with us. We will miss you and will always remember your beautiful smile.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Conal. He was such a character and we had such craic in the schoolroom in Crumlin with him. Conal had that glint in his eye for the bit of fun and what a laugh he had. My thoughts are with you all.

I am very saddened to be writing this, I just wanted to mark the passing of a very Brave and Joyous Young Man. I only ever encountered Conal and all the family once in early December when I had the opportunity to visit with you as part of a Santa Christmas Celebration. That evening was full of Love and is one that will stay with me forever. There was a warmth and tenderness generated by everyone supporting and surrounding Conal that was palpable and went to make a Christmas evening that was so so special. I wish all the family the best for the future and may Conal Rest In Peace.

I was lucky to have met Conal on a few occasions and he struck me as a young fella who was full of craic, he had that glint of mischief in his eyes. He was a very brave young man.
