I'm so sorry to hear this sad news Stew. My love to you and the family.

It is with such deep sadness that I am writing this. Just cannot believe that Connie is gone and unfortunately I will not get to meet her this as usual when I'm home. Connie will always be remembered with great fondness and love by all. My memories are of our Beecham days and the madness that we carried on with, our table tennis playing which of course always incorporated a rush at the end so we could charge out to a few beers before heading home and she never got into trouble as stew would be with us ! , bowling nights, which ended the same as the tennis, the table quiz's and card nights of which not many hands of cards were played! and not too mention the regular sessions in the lower deck and similar venues. within our group Connie could always be relied on to know the most up to date info on everything and she had such a great memory you could always rely on Connie to fill in any gaps as to who is who etc. It was great to be a part of some special times in Connie's life , her wedding to Stew, and her welcoming into the world the her children Emma & Eoin of whom she was so proud. Connie would always be available to help anyone or just give you a smile that often spoke more than she would put into words but you knew she cared.
