Connie was one of the best people I have ever met. He was a proud Cavan man, proud goalie, a dedicated and great engineer who was a joy to work with. I have never met a person who gave 110% to everything he did and i'm sure when people read this they'll be thinking, "yah that was Connie alright".
Everybody knows Connie was a giver, he's probably in heaven right now asking Jesus would he like an apple, or a yogurt or would he like to go on the next adventure planned by himself and Philip.
Connie, we'll all miss you dearly and i know you'll be looking after all of us from above, but especially your family who you were very proud of.
Dear Breege,
I'm so sad for you and your family. I remember you talking of Connie and he sounded really talented and special. With love and prayer, also from my Mum. We are so sorry.
To Breege
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time. Love Joan
To Paul and the whole Smith family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I can't even imagine what you're going through, but I'll keep you all in my prayers.

To the Family of Connie,

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Connie touched the hearts of all those he worked with.
From his many friends and colleagues at Waterford City Council.
My thoughts and prayers are with Connie and Philip. Connie was conscientious in his working life and a joy to work closely with. He was a close friend. All I can say in the 3 years i have known him is that he was a great guy and not a bad word had he to say about anybody and that proved to me that this guy was to be admired. Will miss him popping into my house and doing those night classes together. Still cannot believe this has happened.
To Connie's family,

There are no words to understand why this should happen. He was one great guy and a joy to know.

Thinking of you all on this sad day
To Connie's family. I'm so sorry for your great loss.
Although I didn't know him long, Connie has left an indelible impression on my life and I will never forget him. It was a privilege to have known him.My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
