Deepest condolences to Noreen and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you.
We are very sad to hear that Conor had passed away. Steve has worked with Conor for 30 years or so and we also remember attending your wedding Noreen . A Beautiful occasion .
Can I share a memory of what a lovely guy Conor was . I had come over to Dublin with my daughter and her friend who were 17 at the time . Steve was busy at work with Guinness . Conor kindly picked us up from our Hotel and took us on a tour showing the girls where the famous Irish stars lived such as Enya and The Edge from U2, Westlife Boyzone etc The girls were in awe . He then took us for lunch where a lot of tv presenters regularly frequented and then returned us to the Hotel. We have never forgotten this time and how patient and kind Conor was We have watched the service this morning by live stream and felt that the service was an excellent tribute to Conor.
Thankyou
Our daughter Becki Horne and Steve and I have donated to the hospice .
Sending our love and thoughts
Love Janelle and Steve jones .

I was so sad to hear of Conor's passing (via Linked In - so thank you for posting it on there).
I was a friend of Conor's from a period of his life probably unknown to most people now. We were neighbours in Didsbury, Manchester between 1997 and 2001. We became friends from the first day I moved in, which was when our paths first crossed. Every Thursday night, four of us used to have a lads night out at The Nose in Didsbury. Me, Andy Gowen, Zach Ali and Conor - it is one of my fondest memories of those long gone, more carefree, days - before life got so serious as we all gradually became parents.
I still remember a knock on my front door at 10.30 p.m., one evening. I opened it, and Conor was standing there, with a glint in his eye:-
"John, I've just had a really long and trying day at work. I''ve just got back. Do you fancy a drink?" Well, what could I say - a friend in need, and all that. We went round to The Metropolitan in Didsbury, drank one pint of Guinness in the last 20 minutes before the pub closed, and returned home - both happy at the unexpected night out! He wasn't a big drinker, and just wanted to unwind in the company of a mate. One pint was all he needed, and a chat for half an hour or so.
We lost touch in later years as our careers and lives took us in different directions. However, life is about who shares the journey with you, and for four years Conor was a part of my life, for which I will always be grateful. Wonderfully, happy times. Fly free, Big Man.

It is with shock and deep sadness that I heard of Conor's untimely passing. Please accept my heartfelt and deepest sympathy.
Conor and I studied together at University of Ulster at Jordanstown and graduated together in the class of 1989. We kept in touch after graduation when he moved to Chester and had a few re-unions there, in Dublin and even a trip to Portugal with Eammon McIvor and Dermot Mackle. I am so glad to have had the chance to know Conor. I regret not staying in touch more often. He was one of the good ones and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Ever since we got to know each other in Edward Lane nearly 17 years ago, I've enjoyed all those animated chats with Conor on every subject under the sun! What an extraordinary and inspirational man. But despite the width and depth of his range of interests, the most precious beings in his life were the four of you and he was so proud of you. Our hearts go out to you at this sad time.
