Cookie was the star of my first U19 side in Mary's. He made
rugby look effortless and was selected to play senior 1st while still U19.
He was a gentleman who's career in the cycling business probably took inches of my waistline.

Conor was a regular visitor to our home in the early 80s. He was such a nice guy, all the family were so fond of him. I remember Conor taking pity on me and giving me lifts to 'Blinkers', it was such a distance away at the time! That and so many other great memories.

Back in the day Conor was a great friend and part of our gang of lads at Trinity. We were mainly Terenure men but Conor was prepared to give us a chance. He was always great company and made our whole college times a much better experience because of his friendship. We always had good times whether it was on the “chocolate boxes” in the arts block, in The Pav or on the hallowed turf of College Park. May he rest in peace. Jocker.
