Solidarity and love to all the Cronins, friends, and family at this very tough time.

I was fortunate enough to meet Conor through my best friend and his cousin Brendan Cronin, and we were also connected through my own cousin Adam Doyle - a serendipitous link that highlights the very real love between Conor, his family, and his huge community of friends and brothers.

Conor's legacy and memory will live on as we honour him with our words and actions - November and Movember now takes on a very special meaning in all our hearts. Number 1 in the world - no less than he deserves.

With condolences,

Adam Bone
To Conor's family,
I had the pleasure of knowing Conor through Arainn Mhor, where he was my Cinnire. I remember being a small, shy 15 year old, being picked on by some of the other lads in the house, and Conor stepping in and sticking up for me. You could say it was his job, but I could tell that he really cared about my wellbeing. It meant a huge amount to me to have someone like Conor in my corner, and 8 years later I have never forgotten the kindness he showed me in those 3 weeks. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you all, Conor really was an incredible person, as I'm certain you already know.
To Conor's family.
We were so so sorry to learn of Conor's passing. He was truly a lovely young man. I have fond memories of the week he spent in Dublin Bus as part of his work experience for school. He fitted in so well and was liked by all. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Billy and Anna Daly.
Condolences to Conor’s family. I knew Conor through school and meeting in the Regency gym on occasion. He was genuinely loved by all and I’m truly saddened to hear of this tragic news. RIP Conor x
Eavan, Tina, Sinéad, Ciarán and Alanna,
I'll start by saying that whatever I say here will not do justice to what a wonderful person Conor was. When I think of words to describe Conor, I think of selfless, giving, inclusive, completely trustworthy, charming and funny. Conor had the remarkable quality of being able to include someone in any kind of group setting without it seeming as though he was doing a lot. As well as this and his amazing selflessness, the fact that he was as sociable, easy going, charming, witty, funny and universally adored by everyone in Ard Scoil, I think speaks volumes of what a truly unique and wonderful person he was. One of my favorite memories of Conor; as is the case with the majority of the Transition Year group, was how unbelievably good he was to me at my father's funeral and the time after he had passed away, years after Conor had lost his own father. To say that I always felt extremely happy with Conor and looked after by him is the understatement of the millennium. He had the most good and totally selfless heart of anyone I have ever met, and I always considered myself incredibly lucky to have been on the receiving end of it during an extremely difficult time in my life. I count myself privileged and incredibly blessed to have known Conor as well as I did, and I only wish I had got to know him better. I loved Conor, and to me, he is the most selfless and good hearted person I've ever met, and no less than a true hero.
Condolences to all Conor’s family & friends.

It had been a while since I spoke to Conor last but I’ll always remember him as the gent he was! x

I had the pleasure of knowing Conor through my brother Daragh.
While they were in 6th year, Conor & the lads would come to the house on a Monday for tea and biscuits before after school study. I will always remember those afternoons being greeted by Conor’s infectious smile and fantastic humour and the lads in fits of laughter.
I feel truly lucky to have had the pleasure of knowing such an unbelievable man.
My deepest sympathies to Tina, Ciaran, Sinead and Alannah and the love of Conor’s life Eavann.

Deepest sympathy and condolences to Tina & family.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Tina, Sinéad, Ciarán, Alanna and Eavan for the tragic passing of Conor.
We grew up as a big group of us, including Ciarán and Conor, in Courtlands. Conor always had such a lease for life and always held his own despite us being slightly older. One thing that was always obvious was how much he adored and admired his big brother Ciarán. In recent years we've seen Conor around Drumcondra and have always been met with that infectious smile and lovely greeting. He'll be dearly missed but remembered so fondly through all the lives he has touched.
Ciaran & all the Cronins,

I had the honour of knowing Conor in Ard Scoil during our formative years. The word gentleman has been used in countless messages about Conor on different platforms over the last few days and that really goes to show the kind of man he is and how fondly people think of him. His attitude and energy towards helping others was always something that stood out to me. A kind soul with a giving heart who made a real, positive difference to people.

My sincerest condolences to you, and may he rest it peace.
Thinking of you all, x

My deepest sympathies to Eavan, the Cronin family and to all of Conor’s friends. I went to Arainn Mor for years and although I was never on the same course as Conor, I met some of his best friends who later introduced me to him. I remember Conor as the lad with a cheeky grin on his face who could definitely throw out a few slaggings and have everyone laughing. I met some of Conor’s pals in Sydney on Sunday to remember him and watched his beautiful service in Dublin this morning. It is so clear Conor was an amazing gent who touched the lives of so many people. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. RIP Cronin

I met conor during a work experience week at Dublin fire brigade, he was such a lovely guy. Never forgot his good spirit and friendyness. Such a tragic loss for you all too endure. May Conor Rest in peace. Xx
Ciaran, Eavan, Susan, Alanna, Sinead and Conor's mam, Tina, there are no words to ease the pain you are going through. Deepest condolences on your heartbreaking loss. I hope the cherished memories you have of Conor will help give you some comfort and strength during this very difficult time. I am thinking of you all xxx
I watched Conor's funeral today. You should all be so very proud of yourselves - you all did him proud. I cried listening to his brother Ciaran and Eavan speak so beautifully about him. I know that your hearts are broken at this moment and no one can help. Conor gave the gift of life to other people through his organ donation - how amazing is that! But still it doesn't stop your heartache and that's understandable. Scream if you feel like it ..... it does help... and I should know ... Having your life and the future you had imagnined disappear in a heart beat is very very hard to accept. The candle that I lit for Conor is still shining brightly in my garden. It's a big candle, but from everything that I've read about Conor he was a big personality with a kind and caring heart, so a big candle shining brightly out in to the dark night sky seems fitting. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. R.I.P. Conor and keep watching over those who love you to the moon & back.
Sincere sympathy to Tina, Eavan, the extended Cronin and Sewell families at this sad time. May Conor rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Eavan, Tina, Sinéad, Ciarán, and Alanna. I spent only a few years with Conor in college. He was the type of person to really liven up the room once he was there and always had a smile on his face. You couldn't help but be happy once he was around.

Rest in peace Conor x
Dear Tina,
Sincerest sympathies to you and your family on the incredibly sad passing of Conor. Thinking of you all at this time.

RIP Conor.
Tina, Sinead, Ciaran, Alanna & Eavan my heartfelt sympathy to you all on the death of Conor the one you all cherished, loved tenderly and will miss so much. I have wonderful memories of Conor as a student, an absolute joy to know with an infectious smile and was a friend to all who knew him. He exudes goodness. His positiveness was infectious. I was devastated to hear the terrible news. We don't expect to see our students to leave us at such a young age when he had so much to share in creating a better world. It is ironic that that was exactly what he was doing when he was struck down by this terrible tragedy. My prayers and thought are with you all at this very sad and trying time in your lives. Lots of love. Pat Reilly

Ms Cronin and all your family. I was so saddened to hear about the devastating loss you have suffered. I didn't know Conor personally but I felt compelled to leave my condolences here. There are no words I or anyone can write that will take the pain away. Just take comfort in the knowledge that your son loved you all so much and he was clearly a much loved and cared for young man. Conor died doing something for others how noble is that. Take comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace with his loving Dad . I know it may not seem it now but the sun will shine again and your memories of Conor will help you on the journey. In the words of the late poet Derek Mahon "Everything is going to be alright".
