Conor Dolan

Our sincerest condolences on the tragic loss of your beloved Conor to PJ , Dympna and all the family. We cannot even begin to imagine what it must be like. Thinking of you and saying a prayer.

Conor and I were very good friends, from the first time we met we were bosom brothers. Time we each spent sober we remained in contact as much as possible, and I am grateful to have spent countless nights in my or friends house, around campfires, at festivals, or in various squats he had begun to renovate, talking and laughing the hours away. Possibly most importantly were the amount of times I had seriously injured myself due to depression, Conor was never more than a phone call away and even during the worst of his own times he was always willing to keep me company for hours in a&e and keep my spirits up and try get me the help I needed, even during one memorable occasion where we waited in a clinical room for over 10 hours without being seen by a nurse before leaving, now equipped with a hospital blanket that followed him from house to house. Who else would try repeatedly to help someone who wouldn't help themselves? Only Conor, and I am glad to have known him and proud to have called him one of my dearest friends.
My deepest sympathies to his mother, father, brother and sister who I know he loved dearly, especially Finian whose praises and accomplishments he sang so often.
I know he's looking down on us all with love in his heart and a twinkle of mischief in his eye.
