I was so sorry to hear this sad news when Evelyn told me that Conor had died. I remember him with great fondness although I hadn't seen him in a good while. Many happy memories when all the family lived in the Gardens! Sincerest sympathy to all the family.

Deepest sympathies to all the O’Connor family in Dublin, Deborah and Conor’s children. Conor was one of a kind who loved his family dearly. I first met Conor, Rory and Kevin aged 13 and visiting Dublin for the first time when Cork were in the All-Ireland final back in 1993. It was then that I was introduced to Garth Brooks and the song friends in low places from Conor. When I lived in Dublin in 1998 I would often meet up with Conor and loved being in his company. Conor always held Cork dear to his heart and always kept in touch with his Cork cousins over the years. He kept the family ties close to his heart and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. May he Rest In Peace 🙏

I have such fond memories of Conor: in his youth he spent his summer holidays in Killavoy with Kit and Johnny and myself along with his brothers and sisters, what wild and carefree days they were, driving the tractor and the mad bike (as Conor used to call it)! One of Saval Parks fastest runners and a fantastically funny character. Lots of memories playing in the 'Mucky Lane' and rounders on the 'green'. We even managed a few orchards and the occasional knick knock. We were altar boys together and served at Catherine and Eugene's wedding. Condolences to his family and all the wonderful O'Connors.

My sincere condolences to everyone. I have such fond memories of Mr. Conor O'Conner when we were in Ireland for my brother's wedding. He was the greatest host ever, we drank, danced, and laughed. I remember when we arrived in Ireland, I believe I took his breath away, the next morning he asked my parents if he could marry me lol... We kept up our friendship with phone calls, memories I will cherish. Please rest easy my friend and watch over your children and whole family.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Conor. Looking out on the green in front of the O’Connors house now brings back many happy childhood and teenage memories, with Conor and all the other friends in Saval Park Gardens. Conor was a big part of the fun and games. Great times!

I was shocked to hear the sad news of Conors passing. Although I only met him briefly in person a couple of times he highly complimented my music.
We had aquantances that were into Irish Folk and Ballad music and Conor loved a song written by a friend of mine Wicklow Town man Terry Kavanagh called 'Old Men in Hats' I recorded that same song with Emphasis Records in Atlanta.
Conor was also a big fan like myself of Luke Kelly. I lost count of how many times he shared my music but I'll be forever grateful to him. Sincere Condolences to all his family, extended family and relatives. May he rest in eternal peace.
