Heartfelt condolences to Judith and family. I edit the Roscrea Review a Newsletter for CCR pastmen. Over the years Conor contributed a number of very interesting pieces and I know he gave well received talks to current pupils in the College. He also gave me a copy of one of his books. We met once for coffee in Rathfarnham Castle and I hoped there would be a repeat. When I heard he died in a cycling accident, I thought of the words "we know not the day nor the hour." Suamhneas sioraí dá anam dílis.
My most sincere condolences to Judith, Conor's family, his business partner Grace and all those close to him. Conor had a deep understanding and compassion on social and community issues. He was a man of integrity, ever mindful of how important social justice is. In a world where such authenticity can be, sadly, lacking, it was a pleasure and honour to have got to know him in recent years. News of his untimely death is very shocking. May Conor rest in well deserved, but far too premature, peace and spiritual contentment.
Our deepest sympathy to Judith and all of Conor's family. We were deeply saddened to here about his passing. I ran many a run with Conor and took part in many a race with him as part of Sportsworld Running Club. May he Rest in Peace

Maureen, so so sad to lose a child. Age has no bearing. The inner child and baby always remains.
That is the image a mother will always hold in her heart and mind. To quote from the poem of our great patriot and poet Padraic Pearse.
Lord thou art hard on Mothers
We suffer in their coming and their going.

We wish to join the many people expressing their feeling of loss at Conor's passing. He was a genuine person, full of wit and wisdom. He will be sadly missed by Din Laoghaire Pier Runners and, particularly, by By The Sea Runners. His absence in the Cremosa Coffee shop is sorely felt.

Judith...so very sorry to hear of Conors untimely passing.....thinking of you with love...God bless
Deepest sympathies to Conor's family. I am truly shocked to hear of his passing. Conor had time for everyone, i will always remember him as someone who was generous and kind hearted. He was someone that i always held in high regard. He could speak, he could listen, he could negotiate, he could advise, his stories were engaging, he had many friends in different circles, he had a partner and was successful, he could run a business and run marathons. He had it all really, a natural leader. And yet he always spoke to you as an equal. He was funny, he had lots of stories, and it was always great to sit down and have coffee after a long run in the phoenix park on a Sunday morning. His presence truly lit up a room, and he attracted people towards him. He was a friend of many. He contributed massively to the club, whether it was on race day for the Dublin 5 mile classic which attracted international athletes from overseas, to getting our clubhouse built, which was 20 years ago now. He will be sadly missed and leaves a huge loss.

Dearest Judith,
I was both shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Conor, may he rest in peace.
I have such fond memories of the many days and nights we spent doing the tidro classes together as a group up in Westwood, competing so vigorously against each other,Conor always to the fore, to then adjourn back to your house where Conor and yourself would always welcome us with open arms. These evening's were always full of fun and laughter and generally ended up somewhere in town with Conor wanting to bring us to somewhere new he had just found. He'd not not only be our taxi driver for the night but the perfect guide and minder as well.
No words I say can help you at this very sad and difficult time Judith, but just remember that Conor is looking over you now and will mind you through the tough days ahead.
Another star will shine brightly in the sky tonight.
R.I.P. Conor
