I met Conrad in 1957/58 when we were both Junior Members of the Irish Railway Record Society. We enjoyed many trips together back in those days, and our paths continued to cross in later life, right up to last year. Conrad was always an engaging and interesting companion and will be much missed, but has left all those who knew him with happy memories of times past. My condolences to Bardis and all the Phillips family.
