Cormac, it has been just four years ago when you had been congratulating me to my firstborn son. Besides of congratulation, you wrote to me..."Very exciting times for you so make sure you enjoy them – believe me, time passes very quickly with your children."
Time passes very quickly.. Cormac, nobody knew that your time on this world would be passing so quick..
You left your family, your friends, all of us, too soon..

My sincere condolences on the passing of Cormac which I have just learnt of. He was a lovely man and no doubt will be missed. RIP.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Cormac's passing. My thoughts are with you Orla and the children. He was such a lovely gentleman and no doubt will be sorely missed.

I was truly saddened to hear the news that Cormac had passed away. I worked with Cormac over a number of years whilst employed by CIT and he was a pleasure to work with. He was a charismatic leader and always maintained high standards. My deepest sympathies go to Orla and his family and you are very much in my thoughts at this difficult time.

It was with great sadness that i learned of Cormac's passing. I will keep in memory of good souvenirs of Cormac as a charismatic and strong leader with a great humour. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

I've had the privilege of working with Cormac twice, once with CIT and again with the integration of Dell and EMC. Leasing is a small world, it's like family so we're all touched and saddened when we lose one of our own. Cormac was a great leader, always supportive and he will be missed greatly by all of us. I met Cormac only on 4 occasions, on those he enquired about my sons by name and asked about their progress in their chosen sports. I will never forget the dance off we, as a DFS team, had with Cormac in Paris and the mopping up of red wine in Copenhagen. Cormac was a great leader and a genuinely thoughtful man. I only got to work with him for a short time, but one of the last conversation I had with him strikes me today. It was just before I went on maternity leave and he told me to cherish the time with family and how quickly our children grow up.

I first met Cormac 4.5 years ago when he gave me the opportunity to join DFS and start a new phase in my working life, and I had the honour, and pleasure, of reporting to him directly for a short while. He was always kind, supportive and encouraging - though I knew he would chew my ear off if I earned it! I last saw him at FRS in February where we spoke for a few minutes - and I'll hold that image.
