I extend my condolences to Joe, Phyllis, Nellie, the O'Driscoll, Sheehan and Power families on the passing of Cormac- my former neighbour in Nedineagh West (Ballyboy). Cormac and Josie were a lovely couple and had a great life together-they loved going out for Sunday dinner - and are now united again. I remember Cormac was very sociable and had a real hearty laugh. As a young one, the 'Acres' road was my late mothers (Maureen Duggan- nee Lordan, Fanlobbus) and mines Sunday walking route - often meeting the neighbours-Cormac, John Daly, John Brien and Mamie, the Coakleys, the Donovans, the OConnors and sometimes dropping in to my mams uncle Bob Crowleys. Alas many of them have now passed to their eternal rewards- may they rest in peace.
I was at Cormac &Josies wedding with my mother in the Sunset Ridge, Blarney if I'm not mistaken.
May Cormac now rest in peace.
