Deepest sympathy to Lily and family on your sad loss. Cormac always seemed such a Limerick Institution to me, as a blow in. And I was so lucky to have Grainne as a treasured Colleague and friend. We were both speaking of him in Ballinacurra as he was passing away.

We were all very sad to hear of Cormac's death and of course it brings up memories of my father, Oisin, and the links between Rory and Ger and the two families. Finola sends her sympathy and recounted fond memories of the visits Cormac, Peter and Garry made to Stradbally in her youth. She was sorry she couldn't travel with us on Friday. We send our condolences and best wishes.

We are sorry we couldn’t be with you to pay our respects in person to you all as we are away. Cormac was a thorough gentleman, professional in his job and craft. We always loved his quick wit, turn of phrase and good humour and always enjoyed his columns and sports reporting whether it was tennis, soccer, rugby etc etc. a very talented and gifted man. During my many years at the Markets Field Cormac was a great friend to the Greyhound Industry and to me personally. very witty as always, when he wasnt available, his deputies as he called them would step in.
