Con was a truly kind and good natured man. I will always be grateful for the warmth and acceptance he showed me when I first met him and got to know him.

He was clearly a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. I know how deeply he was loved. My three boys have fantastic memories of him and always felt his kindness. I did too. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him. One of life's rare gems.

I remember him teaching me texas hold em and a few other card games. Many a laugh was had.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time and sending my sincere condolences.

I know his amazing energy will guide and be felt by all who loved him forever more. I know Evan is very proud to share his name.

Very sad to hear this lovely naturally friendly man has passed away .He shared a flat with my father in London when they were both young.I remember visiting the Ryan Castlewaller, when I was young and they had a big ornamental sword over the mantelpiece .Connie took it down so we could play with it .
He was always smiling and nice to everyone when we met him in the street in his painters whites .

He was one of my father’s favourite people.
