As a former County Councillor I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dan Joe. Even though we were of different political affiliations I found him to courteous and helpful and always friendly. He was one of life's ultimate gentlemen. At dheis dei ar a anaim deilis.
I am really shocked to hear of Dan Joe's sudden passing, it's such a short time since I bumped into him in the County Hall and he was his usual jolly self. I have always found Dan Joe to be professional and courteous in his dealings and I know he will be sorely missed.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to Dan Joe's family on their loss.
