Rest in Peace > Countess Ann Bernstorff.
I did not know Countess Bernstorff very well.
but I certainly admired her drive, talents energy and ideas
As far as I am aware she had a manufacturing unit making bonnets,
with my limited knowledge, as far as I know these may have
been for the American markets with success.
Her energies then were directed towards the New Ross tapestries
with her daughter and a legion of stitchers from around both counties
Wexford and Kilkenny.
For many the historical Tapestry was a mammoth project spread
over many years.
We assisted the project to a minuet degree.
The measure of the tapestry success will undoubtedly be the family legacy.
Sincere sympathy to the family, friends & neighbours
especially to Anne's daughters, grand & great grand children & beloved animals.
The regretted passing of an inspirational lady known as Countess Anne .
