We were very sorry to hear of Crohan's passing last week. Crohan was a quiet but powerful supporter of many charities, including Tig an Oilean on Valentia, and has made enormous differences to so many people over a long time. He wore his achievements lightly, behind a gentle and patient personality. Crohan will be profoundly missed and we hope the memory of his fine and well-lived life will help console Nancy and family.

Crohan was a great and generous gentleman, he was a proud Kerryman who never forget his roots and pride of place such as Lohar, the Caherdaniel Parish, Waterville and County Kerry.
He was a great supporter of Community Development and Sports Organisations.
He was very generous to us in the Caherdaniel Rowing Club at our Church Gate Collections at Lohar.
We were privileged to be part of his sporting spirit and generosity and he will be remembered fondly and sadly missed by our club.
On a personal level as a youngster who grew up in Lohar and as a neighbour I always found Crohan very much down to earth and a gentleman who wanted to keep in touch with his neighbours and friends despite his great businesses success and which we were very proud of him for such success which he was so willing to share.
